While the current healthcare system has much to offer, it has gaps On a surface level, the United States of America has one of the most robust and high-quality healthcare systems in the world; but that care and quality doesn’t always receive equal distribution. Because limitations in access, and disparity in best-in-care medical practices and equipment is enmeshed in a painful and complex socioeconomic history, marginalized communities are disproportionately impacted, and are ultimately forced to bear the financial and physical costs of this otherwise comprehensive and innovative system.
