MEDPOD MOBILE MEDICAL CENTER
Advanced Medicine on the Move
Imagine a fully operational medical unit that’s deployable to virtually any location and can be set up and running within a few hours. Imagine transforming and increasing access to care in underserved or remote geographies or emergency locations — swiftly, efficiently and cost-effectively. Medpod makes all this and more a reality with the Medpod Mobile Medical Center.
The Medpod Mobile Medical Center is a rapid-deployment medical access point that transitions from a standard cargo shipping container into a fully functional medical office in less than 90 minutes. Measuring 8 x 20 feet in shipping mode, the unit easily transforms into a 390-square-foot, ADA-compliant medical office, featuring options such as a large waiting room, multiple exam rooms, and a bathroom. This highly versatile unit can be customized with a variety of medical-grade diagnostic devices as well as both CLIA-waived and moderately complex lab equipment.
This innovative, patient-centric clinic is designed to be completely self-contained, featuring an onboard generator, fresh and gray water holding tanks, Wi-Fi, Satellite, 4G and wired communications and data systems, as well as hookup capabilities. The Mobile Medical Center is transportable for immediate operation in virtually any setting or environment — deployable to the world’s most remote locations, to disaster zones or even to the parking lot of a Fortune 500 company.
